Sneaker Con Bay Area Recap | iMatch Apparel

Recap: iMatch Takes on the Bay From the Ground Up

Wheels-Up and off to the West Coast. Before Sneaker Con Bay Area even started, the iMatch Apparel team took time to experience San Francisco. Our friend Sonny, a Bay Area local, showed us the heart of the city and all its character. We rode the famous cable cars, explored Pier 39, and cruised through the bay on Old Blue, passing under the Golden Gate Bridge and around Alcatraz. Between bowls of clam chowder, crab cakes, donuts, and in-n-out burger, the city quickly won us over.

After exploring, we headed back to our Airbnb in Berryessa, a beautiful home hosted by the kindest couple, Gnanika and Ravi from Sri Lanka. They made our stay easy and comfortable, which helped us stay focused for the weekend ahead.

Show Time at Sneaker Con Bay Area

When setup time came, everything moved smoothly. Our local friends Sonny and Omar arrived early and locked down a prime spot for us. With their help, we were able to get everything in place quickly. Our layout is simple and efficient, showcasing our shirts alongside the sneakers they match. Within 30 minutes, our booth was ready and looking sharp.

The response from the Bay Area crowd was incredible. Sneakerheads connected instantly with the vision behind iMatch Apparel: making style easy from the ground up.

We sold more than 60 percent of our total inventory and more than five times what we sold at Dallas Sneaker Con.

Our “What?” Tee and Splice Tee were top sellers, and the Bay Area Exclusive shirt completely sold out. The local love was real and the energy at the event was unmatched.

Even though our guy Chef faced flight chaos and did not arrive until Saturday night, we still had a great time and made every moment count. Also, R.I.P. to the SB Jarritos bottle that barely made it through the doors before shattering all of Omar's dreams.

Community, Collaboration, and Gratitude

This trip was about more than sales. It was about connecting with people who share the same passion for sneakers and streetwear culture. Huge shoutout to David B, David L., Vincent, Matt, Mo, Chef, Omar, and Sonny for making this weekend unforgettable. From promoting and selling shirts to helping with setup and creating great memories, everyone played a part in our success.

We also had an exciting moment when GrailCaviar, a popular Whatnot streamer and high-end sneaker reseller, stopped by our booth. He purchased every Spooky Season shirt we had and will be featuring them on his Halloween Special stream on October 22 at 10 PM PST. He will bundle the shirts with exclusive sneakers for his buyers. Be sure to tune in to see iMatch Apparel featured live.

Wrapping It Up

Now that we are home, the after-show blues are hitting hard. The Bay Area showed us love, support, and real appreciation for what we do. Events like this remind us why we built iMatch Apparel in the first place—to make it easier for sneakerheads to match their style from the ground up.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, showed love, and became part of the iMatch family. We are already looking forward to the next event and cannot wait to keep building the movement.

Stay matched. Stay original. From the ground up.
